Wheelchairs for Kids Wheelathon at Lyndale Secondary College
On Friday, 13th September, Lyndale Secondary College successfully hosted an Interact event, the Wheelchairs for Kids Wheelathon.
Rotary provided a BBQ lunch, with food and drinks available to all students. The proceeds from the lunch went directly to the Wheelchairs for Kids initiative, helping to fund wheelchairs for children in need around the world.
We extend our gratitude to all who contributed, including the students, staff, and volunteers from our club for making this event a wonderful success.

The countdown is on for the District 9815 Inaugural Conference, and early bird tickets are selling fast! Secure your discounted ticket by 30th September to enjoy full admission to this exciting event, scheduled from 28th to 30th March 2025 at the Red Energy Arena in Bendigo.

Please note, that the ticket excludes additional external activities such as Friday events, Saturday and Sunday breakfasts, and the Sunday charity walk.

We have received a gracious invitation from the Rotary Club of Noble Park-Dingley to join them for a special joint meeting on Tuesday, 3rd October.

Inaugural District 9815 Conference 8 - 30 March 2025
Bookings for the Inaugural District 9815 Conference to be held in Bendigo 28 - 30 March 2025 open from Monday 29th of July.
Partners, family, friends, potential members, supporters, and alumni are welcome.

Grow your club by reconnecting with former members
As Nitin Kapur approached her year as president of the Rotary Club of Chandigarh Midtown in India, she reflected on many former members whose energy and passion had been instrumental in building the club. She decided to call each of them and invite
them to a special Alumni Meet to give them a chance to reconnect with the club and see what they were missing. The ensuing phone conversations were some of the most fulfilling of her life and had powerful results. Six alumni members rejoined the club after the event. Read more about Nitin’s
Rotary Pacific Public Image Director Neil McWhannell shares his top tips on how your club can boost its public profile by sharing its stories with the world.
He also explores a real-life example of a Rotary club that has used the power of networking to become a renowned presence in its community.
The Rotary Pacific Membership Team has now confirmed which clubs are participating in Fit for Purpose, an innovative membership program tailored to empower clubs to thrive.
All districts participating in the Rotary Pacific Regionalisation Pilot have at least one club taking part.
The lessons learned from the program will be used to create membership resources that all clubs in our region can use to thrive.
Attendance and Participation: Regularly attend club meetings and participate actively in club activities and projects.
Service Projects: Engage in community service projects, both locally and internationally, aimed at addressing humanitarian needs, promoting goodwill, and fostering peace.
Fundraising: Contribute to fundraising efforts that support Rotary's service projects and charitable activities.
Vocational Expertise: Share their professional skills and expertise to benefit others within the club and in service projects.
Ethical Standards: Adhere to high ethical standards in their personal and professional lives, reflecting Rotary's commitment to integrity and ethical behavior.
Networking and Fellowship: Build relationships and network with other Rotarians and community leaders, fostering goodwill and understanding.
Membership Growth: Support efforts to grow Rotary's membership and extend invitations to prospective members who embody Rotary's ideals.
Rotary Foundation: Contribute financially to the Rotary Foundation, which funds international scholarships, humanitarian projects, and other charitable efforts.
Public Image: Promote Rotary's mission and achievements within the community and advocate for Rotary's values and initiatives.
