At Tuesday night’s meeting, we had the pleasure of hearing from Cindy Smith, Regional Manager South for Team Sports 4 All (TS4A). Cindy shared an inspiring and informative presentation about the positive impact playing sport has on children and young people.
TS4A has recently launched their program in Greater Dandenong, offering much-needed support to local families doing it tough. The organisation helps cover the costs associated with playing sport for children aged 5 to 18 whose families are experiencing financial hardship. Importantly, TS4A’s support goes beyond just one season—they are committed to providing ongoing funding for eligible kids.
The benefits of participation in sport are many: improved physical and mental health, educational development, social inclusion, and even a reduction in crime and drug use. The club is proud to support initiatives like TS4A that make a real difference in our local community.
We look forward to playing our part in helping young people thrive through sport.

Endeavour Hills Men’s Shed Open Day a Great Success
The Endeavour Hills Men’s Shed held another fantastic Open Day on Saturday, 12th April, drawing a large number of visitors keen to explore the workshop and learn more about the group’s activities.
Among the attendees were local MPs Julian Hill and Belinda Wilson, who took time to meet with members and view the impressive displays. One highlight was the Disaster Aid presentation by Brian, which attracted plenty of interest and showcased the Shed’s broader community engagement.
The Men’s Shed continues to go from strength to strength, with membership now approaching 100. Supported by Rotary and the City of Casey, it plays a vital role in promoting the health and wellbeing of men in our community, providing a safe, welcoming space for connection, creativity, and camaraderie.
LEANNE'S PARTNER PROJECT
Join us for a special Fundraiser supporting Apheresis Therapy at Monash Children's Hospital
This is a friendly reminder that there will be no regular club meeting on Tuesday 29th April. Instead, we’re gathering for a special fundraising dinner at the Shangri La Inn restaurant in support of the Monash Children’s Cancer Centre – the District Governor Partner’s Project.
Thank you to those who have already RSVPed, made payment, or generously donated. If you haven’t responded yet, please share the attached invitation with your friends and family – everyone is welcome! It’s a great opportunity to enjoy a relaxed night out while supporting a truly meaningful cause.
Final numbers, dietary requirements, and payment are due by Wednesday 23rd April, so please be sure to get your responses in as soon as possible.

Comedy for a Cause will feature some of the best comedians from the Sydney and Melbourne International Comedy Festivals. Best of all, 100% of proceeds from this event will go directly to supporting the life-changing work of Rotary Disaster Aid Australia.
