 PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
'A reflection of our week'

On behalf of all club members and partners, we extend a very warm welcome back to
Anthony Brown.
Anthony, Lisa and their family enjoyed a very well deserved 4-week holiday in Europe.
We look forward to hearing all about
'The Brown family travels'.

Lyndale Secondary School Interact Club:
On Monday we had the pleasure of having Rotarian Trish Carr present the QR Code Initiative to our Interactors.
Trish designed her presentation specifically aimed at Youth, which opened the doors to
some very productive discussions.
The students responded with interest and enthusiasm, planning to inform the
School Community by posting the flyers in appropriate areas around the school.

Introduction of XERO for our Financials
On Tuesday, Colin and I spent time taking part in a 'training session' for the implementation of XERO for our Club Accounting.
This system is amazing in real-time collaboration, simplified data input and reporting.

THANK YOU to Director of Australian Rotary Health and Past District Governor Paul Mee and his lovely wife Adele for making the trip from Rosebud-Rye RC for our very informative Presentation on
Thursday night.
It was wonderful to receive an update on both ARH and the Indigenous Scholarships which our club is very proud to continue supporting.

I have included some photos below of an initiative we took to create awareness of Mental Health issues, back in 2019 and 2023.

The well attended fundraising events were held at Lyndale Secondary College.
Our Keynote Speaker at both events was none other than the wonderful,
Assoc. Professor of Psychiatry, Greg de Moore.

The other speakers were outstanding, and inspirational;
all of whom generously gave their time and spoke with passion to pass on essential information.

I'd like Congratulate our wonderful Rotarian Anne, for having the courage and passion to share Iko's story at an event last Sunday for
Children's Cancer CoLab and MY Room Children's Charity.
