Car show is rapidly approaching (see article below and ask you all to keep the 10 March 2024 free as there will be lots of jobs to fill.
9820 Golf day for the golfers (and there are many in the club) is coming up on 16 February 2024 (see article below).
Peter was a Rotarian for more than 10 years over two periods. He was a member of the Rotary Club of Dandenong South East from 2009 – 2016 and President from 2012 – 2013. He fulfilled many club roles and was a keep participant in all of the club’s projects and events.
We're thrilled about the increasing excitement among our patrons, and preparations with the Dandenong Council for the venue are well in progress. Conversations with on-site food and stall holders are ongoing, and we're committed to making this Holden Show even more spectacular.
In late January, John Ternel will deliver a comprehensive update on the car show through a presentation. During this session, he'll also seek assistance from fellow members for various activities on the day of the event, which is scheduled for Sunday, March 10. We'll discuss a roster, and your support will be invaluable for tasks such as first aid, lost children, gate entry and management, bin and toilet management, as well as the coordination of runners to assist throughout the day.
As a club member, your involvement can contribute significantly to the success of this day, and you'll have the satisfaction of knowing that you played a pivotal role in making it a memorable event.
In terms of promotion can you all please share widely on social media such as the Facebook event. https://www.facebook.com/events/1151808362151315
