Our Presidents Elect Learning & Development
sessions in Traralgon took place over the weekend, from Friday night to Sunday.
It was an extremely informative and inspiring event which reinforced all the positive elements of Regionalisation and Community groups for all Clubs in the new merged District 9815.
Saturday night's dinner was full of enthusiasm and excitement when the President Elects were sitting
at tables with others from their community.
It was a great opportunity to get to know each other and hear about projects which other clubs are working on.
The grand finale on the weekend was a visit to Centenary House for a delicious BBQ lunch,
update and tour of this amazing facility.
A report summarising the weekend will be given at our meeting tomorrow night.
We have the National Youth Science Forum students speaking about their experiences in Canberra early this year and also four guests who accompanied Hans
on the D9810
Ride for Medical Research.
If you haven't already RSVP'd for tomorrow night, please do so as soon as possible.
PLEASE bring along some cash as we will be resuming the collection of $5 from every member upon arrival. This of course assists with covering the cost of our Guests meals.
Kind regards,
Leanne
