'Serving Local Community'
Dandenong Park Community Celebration prior to the opening of the new Underpass on
Tuesday 22nd September.
 PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE:

Quote: 'A community is only as strong as its members, and so is a Rotary Club'

Thank you to all of our Club Rotarians who volunteered their time to assist with the Dandenong Community BBQ on Sunday 20th September in Dandenong Park.

The event was a celebration of the new Webster Street Underpass which opened today.
For the first time, the underpass will connect
Princes Highway-Lonsdale Street with Cheltenham
and Hammond Roads, improving connections through Dandenong.
The New Road Underpass was part of the Webster Street Level Crossing Removal Project.

To thank the Community for their patience during the construction, Dandenong City Council invited everyone to a free community celebration from
12pm to 3pm on Sunday 20th September.

Congratulations to our Interactor Zam and Babar's son Ryyan for participating at RYPEN on the weekend.
It was wonderful to see you both at the Briars Outdoor Ed camp Mount Martha on Sunday, and to hear about your positive experiences.

Zam and Ryyan will be invited to do a presentation at one of our club meetings.

On Thursday night Colin and I will be attending the Noble Park- Dingley & Springvale City Rotary Clubs fundraising event for the
Local Schools Library Program
at Sandown Greyhounds which is booked to capacity.
