The Dandenong West Primary School held their festival last Friday. It was a great community
event with bands, the local Aboriginal elders, Indian dancing, singing and incredible stalls
and activities run by community groups such as Bunnings, Lions, Well Springs, the AFL,
Police, Rotary and others.
Our BBQ was extremely popular. Thanks to Marty and Peter for picking up and
returning the RC Club Casey BBQ. Thanks also to Phil, Marty, John and Leanne for
suppling the sausages, vegetarian options and bread and sauces. We gave away nearly 700
sausages on the day. In addition thanks to Hans and Colin for helping out on the
day. The school presented us a thank you certificate.
