Ukraine Refugee Crisis
Disaster Aid Europe (DAE) continues to provide aid to Rotarians in Ukraine for distribution to those in need.
· Brian continued to provide support to DAE before he went overseas
· Brian delivered another 2 Rapid Response Kits (RRK) from DAA to DAE in person, DAA has provided 5 SkyHydrants to the cause.
· Brian was able to deliver in person training while in Prague on assembling RRK
· DAE made another trip to the Ukrainian border with Slovakia to deliver a trailer and carload of supplies including the RRK’s.
DISASTER AID AUSTRALIA PROMOTION
Rotary District Conferences
DAA had a stand at the 9800 District Conference in Albury.
DAA presented at the 9820 District Summit about what we have achieved so far this year.
Guest Speaker Opportunities and Vocational Visits
Cherie presented to the Noble Park Business Club.
We have taken bookings for 3 Vocational Visits to our office for the first week of June
Other
· Apart from updates to the Ukraine response there were posts on Wash Myths and Value for Money when donating to a charity on our website.
· Brian recorded an interview with Yarra Valley Community Radio
· We have created a new donations page on our website for supporters who wish to donate monthly
· Cherie and Jan attended a training session on using email messaging in SupporterHub. This will streamline our messaging to supporters including Newsletter, monthly updates and updates on projects and responses.
