Income and Expenditure
Income is up 70% compared to the same time last year. This does include a cash flow boost from the federal government however even if this is taken out of the total there is still a 40% increase on last year. Donations from Rotary Clubs account for 56% of the total donations. There is a 47% decrease in administration costs, some of that is due to COVID restrictions however there have also been savings in other areas due to a focus on reducing costs.
We are currently planning to apply for several philanthropic grants.
COVID
We have developed a COVID policy and continuing to adapt to the changing conditions in Victoria.
Although to date we have been working at home we are hopeful that we can soon return to working in the office.
Updated board meeting minutes and re-distributed for review.
- Web and faceboook posts on oxygen concentrators for Bangladesh.
- Completed travel insurance declaration (as we are not expected to travel internationally for probably the next 9 months the premium is expected to be lower than in the past)
- Updated administration procedure manual with ratification from October board meeting.
- Investigated overpayment of rent
- Updated database to include DAA members for upcoming AGM.
- Review of Drop Box Contents.
- Working on assembling video clips for our ‘Global Initiative Grant Application’
- Sending samples of pre-filters and push taps to Balay Mindanaw.
- Initial discussions with Balay Mindanaw on improving SkyHydrant monitoring.
- Selected a DART long sleeved shirt, with new Logos and getting prices. (Previously DARTs had been provided with short sleeved shirts however this does not show DAA is demonstrating a Duty of Care) Because of the current financial concerns we are only planning to get one shirt per DART at this time but have given the opportunity for others including RC of Greater Dandenong and Endeavour Hills members to buy shirts
