Dr Ahmed Sharif of Bangladesh Sheba will present a compelling update on the Bangladesh Eye Care Program, a transformative initiative launched on 30 October 2023.
The program kicked off with the first eye camps held in Kazihal, Fulbari, and Dinajpur, delivering critical eye health services to underserved communities. Backed by a powerful awareness campaign that reached over 30,000 people, the initiative set out to screen 3,000 individuals across 25 eye camps.
