What it's about: Year 11 and 12 students are doing mock job interviews as part of their Work-Related Skills subject. Each student is interviewed by a panel of three people:

- One teacher, who leads the interview and Two community volunteers, who ask the questions

This gives students real practice being interviewed by adults they don't know – especially helpful for our Year 12s, many of whom are job hunting right now. It's also a great chance for anyone looking to hire young people, as they may meet a great fit for their business.

What volunteers need to do:

- No preparation needed – all questions are provided

- Simply read the questions to each student and tick a short checklist

- A teacher stays with you the whole time to help things run smoothly

Where and how to check in:

Volunteers sign in at the front office, 15 Halton Rd, North Dandenong. A staff member will meet you and take you to the interview room.

ACTIVITIES: House of Friendship, End Polio Now Walk, leadershiup development streams and fellowship dinners.

Our Club Meal Service at Cornerstone is scheduled for Thursday 30th July, which is the 5th Thursday of the month, at the Baptist Church, James Street, Dandenong.

Volunteers are required to assist with serving the meals and the clean up. We will be providing a BBQ, meat, salads and dessert.

If you are available, your assistance will be greatly appreciated.

NO MEETING due to the necessity of scheduling the Lawn Bowls and Christmas Dinner on Monday 14th and Monday 21st December.

Due to an abundance of bookings our Christmas Dinner Function has been scheduled for Monday 21st December.

It's close to Christmas, however it makes the night that little bit more exciting.
