Hi friends,

Well we are certainly keeping busy! As we knuckle down for another round of restrictions, many from our community are doing it particularly tough, facing uncertainty around food supplies and where the next meal is coming from. At Cornerstone we are so thankful that we have been able to stay open - a wonderful testament to our incredible team - and we will certainly do all we can to continue providing meals and material aid parcels to those who are struggling.
I am pleased to say that we have been able to add an extra weekly meal to our schedule, which has been really well received by the community. This has been possible with the help of some new partnerships, and we extend our thanks to Sefano and his family, and the Rotary Club of Greater Dandenong and Endeavour Hills. Along with ramping up our take away meal service, we have also been doing contactless food parcel deliveries, distributing hundreds of parcels chock-full of staples for those in need.
Last week we had a team from Monash Health providing free flu shots, and they will visit Cornerstone again soon to provide general health checks for our community. We also thank our regular partners Orange Sky, One Voice, Wayss, the Avalon Centre, the Lions Club, the ATO and Bolton Clarke, who continue to visit routinely during these uncertain times.
